1. What this policy covers

This policy explains what personal information NoticeHound — a service operated by Websynoptiq, a business registered in Québec, Canada ("we", "us") — collects, why, and how it is handled. We collect the minimum needed to run a monitoring service — we are not in the data business.

2. Information we collect

3. Monitored pages

Snapshots collected by the Service are copies of publicly accessible web pages you chose to monitor. They may incidentally contain personal information published on those pages by their publishers; we store them solely to provide you the change history and evidence log, and we do not exploit them otherwise.

4. How we use information

To provide and secure the Service, send the alerts you configured, process subscriptions, and communicate with you about your account. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use your data to train models or for advertising.

5. Service providers

Your data is processed by the following providers, in the United States:

6. Retention

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit; access is segregated per organization and protected by row-level security; sign-in uses one-time email links (no passwords stored). No system is perfectly secure — we will notify affected users of any breach as required by law.

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including Québec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, and US state privacy laws), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Write to us and we will respond within the legally required time.

9. Changes

We will post any changes here and, for material changes, notify you by email or in-app at least 30 days in advance.
